Die Annäherung an Kunst ist auch die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Blick auf die Welt, die der Künstler in seinem Werk anbietet.
Rezipienten, und gerade normale Galeriebesucher, reagieren zuweilen mit distanziertem Interesse, Neugier, Begeisterung, Ablehnung oder Abscheu auf die gezeigten Werke.
Die Fotografien fokussieren auf die Attitüde der Besucher beim Blick auf die Arbeiten. Einerseits, um anhand der Haltung die Bandbreite von kindlicher Neugier bis zur distanzierten Expertise des Betrachters zu erkunden. Andererseits, um das Werk im musealen Kontext zu den Ausstellungs-besuchern in Bezug zu setzen.
