Architektur und Geschäfte sind die Bühne für das öffentliche Leben einer Stadt, das sich dazwischen abspielt.

Schaufenster zeigen eine eigene Welt Komposition aus Produkten, Bildern, Displays und Accessiores, die fotografisch umgesetzt werden, um ihre Botschaft durch
Bildaus-schnitt, Blickwinkel und Spiegelungen zu kommentieren, in Frage zu stellen oder zu konterkarieren.
Manchmal ist es auch nur der unverstellte Blick auf die Werbewelt, die uns als Lebenskonzept angeboten wird.

Straßenszenen werden durch Spiegelungen und Durchblicke, die sich in der urbanen Architektur ergeben, komprimiert. Die sichtbare Ebenen verdichten sich auf diese Weise mit rein fotografischen
Mitteln zu komplexen Szenarien.
Street scenes are compressed by reflections and views that arise in urban architecture. In this way, the visible levels are condensed into complex scenarios using just photographic means.

In vielen Situationen nehmen wir unsere Mitmenschen von hinten wahr.
Die Fotografien richten die Aufmerksamkeit insbesondere auf die Haartracht, die als Ausdruck der Persönlichkeit z.T. mit viel Mühe gepflegt und drapiert wird.

Annäherungen
Das Motiv dieser Arbeiten ist die Attitüde der Betrachter beim Blick auf die künstlerische Arbeiten: Einerseits die Bandbreite der Haltung von kindlicher Neugier bis zu distanzierter Expertise,
andererseits der Bezug des Werkes zu den Betrachtern im musealen Kontext.
The viewer's attitude when looking at the artistic works is fascinating: On the one hand, the range of attitudes from children's curiosity to distanced expertise; on
the other hand, the relationship of the work to its viewers in the context of a museum.
